Wow, did summer fly by quickly here in the Capital Region! We don’t slow down in the summer months, and we bet you don’t either. The MicroKnowledge team has taken some time for vacations but we’ve also been busy delivering both technology and professional skills development training to many clients.
The training team has conducted sessions on Microsoft Outlook across New York State during the past several weeks, and we’re continuing to consult with clients on Access databases, Excel macros and streamlining work processes. We also recently delivered a six-week class on supervisory skills to a manufacturing company and the feedback for each session has been great. The participants have found they are able to apply concepts from the training sessions directly in their positions. Let me know if you’d like to talk about offering this class in your workplace.
This month in Community Matters we introduce you to Jake’s Help From Heaven, an organization with a goal of supporting children with medical challenges and disabilities and their families.
In Tech Valley’s Brightest, you can read about Vital Vio, whose innovative and revolutionary lighting offers huge benefits for bacteria-sensitive environments.
As summer comes to an end and we kick off the fall season we would love to see you at one of our downtown Albany or Glens Falls sessions. Be sure to get in touch if you have an idea for a program you would like us to present, either in your work setting or at a MicroKnowledge training classroom.
